"Support only made things more frustrating"
The customer service was awful. I messaged support and waited forever just to get a reply that didn’t even answer my question. It really felt like they hadn’t bothered to read what I wrote, which was so frustrating. Then I had to keep following up and still got nowhere. Give me a break. After actually buying from them, I expected way better. I definitely wouldn’t order again.

"I don’t know why it didn’t fit right"
I don’t know why, but even though I double-checked my phone model before ordering, the case still didn’t fit quite right. The buttons felt a little off, and the part around the camera lens was kind of loose. It might work fine for other phones, but it just wasn’t a good fit for mine

"Shipping was okay, just slower than expected"
I ordered from ShiftCam and the package did show up in the end, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would and the tracking was kind of slow to update, so there were a few days where I kept checking and wasn’t really sure where it was or if it had even moved.

The item itself was packed well and nothing arrived damaged, which I appreciated, but I do wish the shipping estimate had been a little clearer before I placed the order. Overall it was fine, just not especially fast or smooth

"100% made my photos and videos look better"
I’ve been using this on trips and I’m convinced it’s made a huge difference. My photos look noticeably sharper, and the videos are way steadier than before. Like, there’s absolutely no question in my mind, everything just looks better now. Really happy with it so far.

"Heads up: mine didn’t last long at all"
Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying a ShiftCam case, mine started falling apart way faster than I expected. I bought it thinking it would be sturdy, especially for the price, but the quality felt cheap. After only a few weeks, the mount got loose and the edges were already showing wear. I’m careful with my phone, so it’s not like I was being rough with it. Disappointing overall, and I wouldn’t say it’s worth the money

"Pretty easy once you poke around a bit"
It’s easy to use overall, but I did have to mess around with it for a while before I really got comfortable. Like, some things were obvious right away, some buttons took a minute to figure out, a few settings needed trial and error, and I definitely clicked through a bunch of menus just to see what did what. Not perfect, but once you get the hang of it, it works fine.

"Very poor customer service"

I received one of their selfie stands as a birthday gift and I didn't write down who gave me the gift. Upon opening the box a few days later I noticed the remote was missing that was supposed to come with it.

I contacted the company to ask if there was a way I could even purchase a replacement remote since I didn't have one in my package. I keep getting the runaround which takes 24 hours just to receive another response. I've emailed them multiple photos, proving that I have the item in my possession and that it is missing the remote. They keep insisting on needing a proof of purchase.

I don't feel like it's a comfortable thing to have to contact each of my guests to ask them who gave me this item and can I get a receipt so that I can get this replacement.

They have been very unprofessional and very rude in their responses. I would not recommend this company.

"Beware - Unreliable Company"

ShiftCam makes interesting products, but does not operate like a reputable company. I ordered a lens and mount in Nov. 24, 2024 and as of January 10, 2025 have not received shipment. Customer support is one person who apparently has health problems. While they should have marked out-of-stock items as such on the web site, instead they took my money. They're tracking app is horrible. Shop elsewhere, Shiftcam is not reliable.

"Terrible Customer Service. The WORST"

Shiftcam has the most terrible customer…
**Update Dec 24** - still no shipment. Was promised it would be shipped last week because the iPhone case is in stock. No word. I reached out again and got some sorry excuse that their shipment was delayed and it will be processed immediately and shipped “today” (that was December 23)

No word. I’m thinking I might have to do a charge back and put reviews all over the internet so that other people don’t go through what I just went through with these liars and thieves. It’s almost 8 weeks of these lies.

Shiftcam has the most terrible customer service.

I prepaid for my iPhone 16 camera case with the anticipation I would receive it in 2 weeks as it was going to be mailed out end of October to early November.

I hear noting. I reach out. I get blamed for not reading their website because it clearly states mid to end November. Which was changed without informing the customer.

I then get informed it is now being shipped mid to end December.

To make matters worse, I was informed they would “make it up” to me by sending the lenses I ordered for free because of this delay.
I was supposed to get a tracking number 11/29 and it’s been 10 days since any response and I have followed up a multitude of times.

This company has terrible communication and customer service. I’m sure their product is good considering the reviews but buyer beware…if you want your lenses you might not get them only after several months.

Their chatbot sucks too. Keeps saying “ I don’t know how to answer that.” I ask “I would like to talk to a customer service rep.” And it gives me that dumb ass answer.

ShiftCam get your act together!!!!!!! You are thieves for taking my money and not delivering my product 6 weeks later!!!!!
